Agora IOT

Agora is the digital innovation partner for oilfield operators ready to harness the full power of the IoT and edge computing. A venture backed by Schlumberger, the world's leading provider of technology for reservoir characterization, drilling, production and processing to the oil and gas industry. The current lack of transparency in wellsite operations in the market fail to give a proper operational view of ways to improve. This results in lost revenue, delayed performance, and missed opportunities for process improvement creating risk. This data driven approach increases visibility, market share and allows the client to keep better track of their operations

Understanding users: I started by understanding the users needs more extensively through a combination of stakeholder requirement elicitation, user interviews and journey observations to form the basis of the qualitative applied research. I then unpacked what data was available for reporting quantitatively and used multi-methodology triangulation to inform the first iteration of the user journey.

Feature Mapping: I then moved on to a feature mapping exercise comparing the feature to the intended business outcome, this allowed the client to select the most important features, and working with the product and development teams, created an MVP for iteration 1.

Project breakdown: The user stories were created based on the features selected by the client and the available data for reporting. These stories were then sequenced for the below data-driven report, leaving the option of introducing extra features based on the clients need.
