The online ordering, responsive web application is a consumer facing application, where the customer is the restaurants customer, and the user makes an order. The interface is the farthest reaching of all platforms, as it can be accessed on all devices. Accessing the splash screen, choosing the order type, selecting items, paying, receipt issuing and delivery type are included. There is a loyalty and rewards function allowing for better customer retention and personalized
Site mapping: I started my mapping out the current portal to better understand the approach that was needed.
Research: An applied research study was created against market competitors and triangulated with available Adobe Analytics data on the current product.
Wireframing: I then moved on to user testing, and conducted user interviews to understand pain points and articulated these to the client, validating certain assumptions and dismissing others to inform the overarching product strategy.
Client expectation management: I then unpacked the user journey key point identification to review with the client before moving on to the user story creation for development
Launch: The user stories were created with the development team in order to sequence our activities and give the client an idea of when to expect their updates to the portal. The Early concept prototype below was signed off by the client for implementation.
